California
holds a proud tradition as one of the
surfing destinations in the U.S. Hawaii
and Florida both offer excellent waves
and surfing, with Hawaii being America's
crowning glory of surfing.
If you have never surfed, it's not as
easy as it looks, mounting the board.
For those who surf regularly it really
is old hat. Even newcomers are told they
can be up on the board in an hour or
less. But still, the learning experience
involves a few surprises.
