Surf City California Events

SurfCityCalifornia includes events each week throughout California that include surfing, sailing, swimming, and fun under the sun. Some events are operated by nonprofit organizations and others are hosted by bars, clubs, restaurants and entertainment planning groups.

Some of the most popular annual Surf City California events include surf competitions that work their way along the California coast any place that there's surf. Mavericks is an annual event that's literally the biggest. The waves for this event have to be in certain form in conditions that generally stand 40 to 60 feet tall. This event is an invitation only event in which only the strongest surfers are invited to due to safety factors.
